Snowboarding

Not as easy as it seems

Had our very first Snowboarding lessing today. It was much harder than I expected at the start. At one point my hopes of becoming a pro-snowboarding were quickly diminishing when I just couldn't get the rental board to go toeside. I was frustrated, tired and about to throw in the towel. Rowan however was doing astoundingly well, a natural. When we finally hit the slopes I enjoyed it way more and now am hooked. I could do it all year round. Heaps of falls and my coxic bone is definatley bruised and kills to sit down on.

We're gunna be sore tomorrow.
Definately need to go for a spa tonight!

Abercrombie & Fitch

I do love thy

Today was snowgear day again. More shopping to get the rest of our snowgear all sorted out. Tomorrow Rowan and I are having our first lessons. Excitedly-scared, should be awesome. I cannot wait.
Rowan, Wendy & I drove down to Provo where I finally got my Abercrombie & Fitch jacket (and in brown too). Rowan paid for it as my Christmas present, stoked.
We had lunch with Dustin and Zoe (who clean the Condo between other people staying there throughout the year), and looked in BodyWorks. Andreas went skiing all day and had a blast. We hung out in the front foyer of the WestGate Resort where it was free cheese, crackers, meatballs and drinks. Dinner tonight is pizza being delivered by Dustin and Zoe (going to put on so much weight).

Can't wait for tomorrow. Should be funny.

WestGate Resort

Free Popcorn and Drinks.. Awesome

Went to the WestGate Resort today, just up the road from the Condo. Ate free popcorn, hotdogs and apple juice until we couldn't eat no more. Had a look around the place and went on the chairlift that the commoners have to use to get from the public car-park up to The Canyons. Was absolutely freezing on the chairlift which was more of a standlift if you ask me. We also saw the display room for the room that Wendy and Andreas have bought sole ownership of at the WestGate Resort. Should be finished by next year.
Lots of shopping again today although no luck with the Abercrombie and Fitch jacket I'd seen on the net. Going to drive to Provo tomorrow and try the store there. Most likely, going to have to get cream (wanting brown).
Rowan and I got to pick out our snowgear tonight, can't wait to try snowboarding. Next week we're going on snow mobiles hopefully. Should be awesome.

It snowed today too which was cool as. Really heavy at one point. Rowan threw a snowball at Wendy and hit her in the face, went all down her top. Made me laugh.

Finally we're here

And it's freezing

Almost about to eat dinner. Chicken and Mash, Mmmm. Flight here was long and tiring, the perfect ingredients for crankiness :P We got seated behind an idiot - we were moved with the suggestiong of more room which was a lie and I think Wendy and Andreas got the better deal with four seats to two people (although they did offer to swap). At LA we missed our flight and hung out there for 3hrs til the next one. At SLC airport we got all bags but Wendys clothes which was delivered at midnight to the Condo. For Christmas dinner the Hofheins Family treated us to the best lasana I think we've ever had (and pizza bread).
We crashed at 9:30pm (3:30pm Australian) and slept till midday today. Today's adventures included Walmart, my first visit where I purchased ChocChipAhoys. Yum! Costco was awesome - more junkfood (36 Twix Bars for $10) and lots of pens and chewy. I got to ride round in the trolley like a little kid again. More shopping, more driving (and suddenly wondering what we were doing on this side of the road) and a carwash later we've retired to our bedroom and are waiting for it to snow!

Went outside before - made our first snowman with boobs. We used ChocChipAhoy biscuits for its eyes. Rowan made a snow angel and I hit him (accidentally) in the nuts with a snowball.
